Shaft was the first blaxploitation movie that made it into the mainstream. I saw ,,the black godfather", was actually my first blaxploitation ever and i loved it so much because it was so ,,cool". Y know that music, that costumes, that language. It was just ,,cool". In 1971 Gordon Parks made it. He brought blaxploitation into the big movie theaters.
