Gegner für Dwayne Johnsons "Black Adam" gefunden: Dieser Star spielt Hawkman

Dwayne Johnson verwandelt sich demnächst in den Superbösewicht „Black Adam“ und wird gegen einige andere Helden kämpfen müssen. Einer davon ist Hawkman. Wer den geflügelten Gegner spielt, steht jetzt fest.

Eigentlich soll der DC-Blockbuster „Black Adam“ am 23. Dezember 2021 in die Kinos kommen. Dass es bei diesem Starttermin bleibt, ist allerdings alles andere als sicher. Schließlich soll erst Anfang 2021 gedreht werden – der Zeitplan dürfte also sehr eng werden.

Immerhin gibt es Neuigkeiten in Sachen Cast. Auf welche Helden Dwayne Johnson als Black Adam stoßen soll, wurde bereits beim DC FanDome verkündet. So wird es zu Duellen mit Hawkman, Cyclone, Doctor Fate und Atom Smasher kommen.

Via Instagram verkündete Johnson höchstpersönlich den neuen Star im „Black Adam“-Cast und begrüßte ihn überschwenglich:

Wie Variety ebenfalls bestätigte, wird der geflügelte Hawkman von Aldis Hodge gespielt. Hodge spielte zuletzt eine der wichtigsten Rollen in Leigh Whannells „Der Unsichtbare“ und hatte Auftritte in zahlreichen Serien wie „Supernatural“, „Black Mirror“ und „Underground“.

Hawkman ist Teil der Justice Society Of America

Wie bereits berichtet, wird Antiheld Black Adam in der neuen DC-Produktion auf die Justice Society Of America (kurz JSA), einem Vorläufer der späteren Justice League, treffen und gegen diese kämpfen. Zur Gesellschaft gehören Hawkman, Cyclone, Doctor Fate und Atom Smasher.

Während wir noch nicht wissen, wer in die Rollen von Cyclone und Doctor Fate schlüpfen wird, wurde, neben Hodge als Hawkman, auch bereits ein Schauspieler für Atom Smasher gecastet. „To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before“-Star Noah Centineo wird sich in diesen Superhelden verwandeln.
