Inhalt & Info
Sergeant Richard Sharpe of the 95th Rifle Brigade fights honorably in the Napoleonic Wars. He saves General Sir Arthur Wellesly, gets promoted to lieutenant and is assigned to progressively harder tasks. Despite the support of Majors Michael Hogan, Nairn, Mungo Monroe, and General Ross he must battle the prejudices of the aristorcrats, who don't approve of a commoner fighting in the higher ranks, while he also fights against France and India. Throughout the wars, Sharpe encounters a number of enemies, including French Major Pierre Ducos and Indian Sergeant Obadiah Hakeswill. But war is not the only only battle he must fight; Sharpe also has several battles of the heart.
