Harry Perkins, dark horse left winger, becomes Prime Minister after he wins a majority vote in corrupt elections. We see the Sheffield boy battle against a corporate wall and attempt to get revenge for his granddad "who were killed" in a mine by molten steel. The U.S along with the right attempt to stop his gauchiste ways.
